CAYMAN ISLANDS

The Flag of the Cayman Islands was adopted in 1959. Prior to that, the Islands had used the British flag for all official occasions. The flag is a Blue Ensign with the Union Flag in the canton, defaced with the Islands' coat of arms. A red ensign of this design is the civil ensign.
