ISLE OF MANISLE OF MAN
The Isle of Man (Ellan Vannin) is a self-governing Crown dependency, located in the Irish Sea at the geographical centre of the British Isles. The Crown is represented by a Lieutenant Governor. The Isle of Man is not part of the United Kingdom, but foreign relations, defence, and governance of the Isle of Man are the responsibility of the United Kingdom. Official languages are Manx Gaelic and English.

The flag of the Isle of Man shows a triskelion, the Three Legs of Mann emblem, in the centre of a red flag. The Manx flag is based on the coat-of-arms of the last recognized Norse King of Mann, Magnus III. The triskelion has its roots in an early Celtic sun symbol.
