WESTERN HUN EMPIRE

The Western Hun Empire, founded by Panu, lasted from 48 to 304 AD. Located in Central Asia, the Western Hun Empire was confronted by Chinese imperial expansion.

Due to this pressure from the east, the Huns began various military campaigns in the western regions of Eurasia and eventually into Europe itself. In 375 AD, the Huns defeat the Goths and set in motion the Great Migration of Germanic tribes. These migrations contributed to the collapse of the Roman Empire.
